While we did not know him as long as others, we considered him a friend who we will miss and who was smart, witty, and a wonderful storyteller. Even our children remember his stories! A true leader of our community!

Carol and the Nelkin Family, I am very sorry for your loss. Stuart was a dear friend and mentor to me. There are so many things I will remember about him but most of all I will remember what he taught me as a lawyer, his stories and his laugh. My prayers are with you at this time.

Carol, Jay, Dov and Sarah and all the Nelkin Family, words cannot express the profound sorrow I feel at your loss and all of those who shared a part of Stuart's life as friends and extended family. Over 35 years I shared so many of those memories with you. I feel that Stuart filled our lives with so much of his love, friendship, stories, laughter and passion for the business of living that he will never be far from our thoughts. And, let's not forget his poetry and song writing. He leaves a beautiful legacy for all who knew him.

Dear Carol, for some reason, you and Stuart came to my mind this evening. I am so sorry for your loss. You and Stuart were blessed with years of love, laughter, faith and community together. If you ever feel like a chat and a coffee, I'd live to see you and catch up on 50 years. Yikes! Love to you and yours and Blessed Be... Carol Ericsson 713-822-9167 or [email protected].
