Our Gimmel Tammuz web section includes general information, Yahrtzeit practices and Ohel resources.

This year we have also included a section on the theme of the Jewish woman. This is being highlighted this year, the 18th yahrtzeit, because the Rebbe discussed this topic on Yud Shevat, 5728, 18 years after Yud Shvat, 5710.

Chabad of Houston to host Rabbis' conference July 15-16

Chabad Lubavitch in Houston, Texas was last privileged to host the Southeastern Regional Kinus Hashluchim in 5750 / 1990, marking the fortieth year of the Rebbe's leadership. Chabad Lubavitch Center is honored to once again host the regional conference of Chabad Rabbis during the year marking the fortieth year since the opening of Merkos L'inyonei Chinuch in the State of Texas as one of the monumental 5732 / 1972 campaign to open "seventy-one Chabad institutions".

The two day conference will take place at Chabad Lubavitch Center - the Texas Regional Headquarters with a special community program on Sunday evening, 25 Tammuz, July 15th, 2012.

Stay tuned for more details!
